As someone who has always been passionate about cars, working at AgTechLogic allowed me to combine my love for engineering with the exciting world of agriculture technology. Growing up, I owned a 350z and spent countless hours repairing it with friends, learning essential skills that have shaped me as an engineer today. Those moments fueled my desire to work in a field where I could apply my technical knowledge to solve real-world challenges. Outside of work, I enjoy drone photography, electronics, playing video games, and skateboarding.

My experience at AgTechLogic can be summed up in one word: amazing.  I enjoyed having this opportunity to work with fellow farmers and veterans in which we have goals aligned to make farming easier, efficient, and cheaper. Agriculture technology is relatively new and despite the challenges that we face, the research and development is the driving factor that makes me excited about the progression and success of AgTechLogic.

When I first arrived at AgTechLogic, my primary task was to help debug the power circuit mounted on our tractors. Before diving in, I needed to familiarize myself with the system’s components, power supply methods, and safety measures like fuses. Working closely with Zack, Erik, and Justin, I analyzed datasheets and circuit flowcharts to understand the current draw of our loads and where we needed to regulate voltage to step it down to a suitable level. Along the way, I encountered new components, like battery isolators, and learned how starter batteries and smart alternators behave. One of my proudest contributions was helping to create a more detailed schematic of the circuit, which served as an improvement over the existing flowchart.

Looking forward, my goal is to make a significant impact in my field. With the rapid advances in technology, I believe it is crucial to continue pushing the boundaries of sustainable and efficient energy sources. My dream is to integrate these innovations into automobiles, ultimately contributing to the development of cutting-edge vehicles that prioritize environmental responsibility. Ideally, I would love to work alongside electrical engineers in Formula One, combining my passion for cars and sustainability. This dream traces back to the moments I spent working on my first car, igniting the motivation that brought me to where I am today.

Overall, my experience at AgTechLogic has been both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I have gained invaluable hands-on experience, deepened my understanding of agricultural technology, and contributed to innovative projects that will shape the future of farming. I look forward to continuing this journey and seeing where it takes me!
