Agriculture Technology Sales

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated, and naturally curious person to join our growing sales team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating sales for precision spraying equipment within the agriculture, transportation, and government sectors throughout the Southwest Region. You own everything from new pipeline generation to customer acquisition to retention and expansion with current and future solution offerings. You will partner closely with our marketing team to make sure you have what you need to bring on customers and make them successful. You will be well supported but are ultimately responsible for your goals and KPI fulfillment.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus on selling our technology solutions, including our flagship product, Intelligent Precision Spray Solutions, to new and existing farming operations and municipality and/or government prospects
  • Identify prospects, leads and contacts
  • Understand and assess the need of potential client, and propose relevant solutions
  • Acquire, retain, and expand your customer base
  • Accurately track and report customers, projects, activities, and pipelines using Hubspot CRM
  • Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual goals for pipeline, both new and retained sale dollars
  • Project manage sale after close to ensure optimal customer experience and deliverables

Accountabilities: 

  • Prospecting
  • General sales activity
  • Create and maintain strong communication and relationship management both internally and with prospects/customers
  • Reporting and tracking
  • Maintain self-managed project management
  • Ongoing communications with marketing teams to ensure resources for selling are effective for your sales strategy
  • Attend ongoing virtual internal meetings

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of sales experience, ag equipment or land management equipment required
  • Reside in the Southwest Region
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with leads, clients, and participate at industry events

  • Experience in CRM, preferably some experience in HubSpot
